PSA from Speak Truth To Power (STTP), a project of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, features HCI author, Erin Merryn, and actor, Julianna Margulies, (The Good Wife). The PSA will accompany a STTP lesson about Erin's story, sexual abuse awareness and the power of resilience that will be added to the existing STTP curriculum. 

In Breaking the Silence, The Learning Channel's (TLC) Documentary on childhoold sexual abuse, HCI Author, Erin Merryn opens up about being a two-time survivor and discusses her passionate fight to end abuse with Erin’s Law legislation, which requires sexual abuse prevention education in public schools and has already been passed in 26 states. Breaking the Silence airs Aug 30, 2015 10:00 p.m. EST on TLC.

LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Snyder signed 30 more bills into law yesterday, among them was Erin’s Law. It will allow schools to implement a curriculum to teach students about child abuse, and to train staff how to recognize the warning signs and how to provide counseling. It’s named in honor of Sex Abuse Survivor Erin Merryn who has lobbied for such legislation in several states.
