Bettie Youngs, Ph. D., Ed.D., is an international lecturer and counselor living in Del mar, California. Hew work and research on wellness issues in the home and workplace have improved the lives of thousands, earning her a reputation as one of the nation's most respected voices of modern reform in these areas. A prominent figure on the international scene as well, her work has spanned more than 60 countries for nearly two decades.
She has won national acclaim for her work with both adults and children on the effects of stress on health, wellness and achievement; the role of self-esteem as it detracts or empowers achievement, peak performance and vitality; and the stages of growth and development as they relate to sense of purpose. Dr. Young's is a former Teacher of the Year, university professor and executive director of the Phoenix ED Foundation.
