John Allen is a wordsmith who is comfortable writing in several diverse styles. He produces precise technical documents, effective advertising copy, poetry, and his award winning lyrics won First Place for American Song Festival and Best Song for Composers Guild. But Allen has a special passion for writing heartfelt stories. Christmas Gifts, Christmas Voices is the first of a proposed cycle of stories featuring recurring characters. Allen has lived in Nashville, Salt Lake City and Sweden. He enjoys doing volunteer work and has served as a Boy Scout Webelos Leader and Cub Master. He is married and has four daughters.
