Sarah Batchelor, PhD, RN, MBA has been a nurse for twenty-two years. She has a behavioral health background and is the Nursing Director for Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC). She also is studying for her second PhD in Clinical Psychology. Originally from England, she has spent six years in the US. She was a part-time police sergeant for seven years with the Metropolitan Police Department in London and led on numerous major incidents and hostage situations. She is in the process of joining the SWAT team as a mental health advisor. Dr. Batchelor is a member of the Nevada Chief Nurse Leadership Group and is the chairperson for the Education Committee for Southern Nevada Nurse Leaders and Co-chair for Northern Nevada. She also lectures part-time at the College of Southern Nevada.
