Jane Congdon was a book editor for 30 years before retiring from one of the largest educational publishers in the world. As national Acquisitions Editor for a high school business list, she traveled the country attending conferences and speaking to groups of educators. She is a graduate of Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, a member of West Virginia Writers, and a veteran of writing workshops including the prestigious Split Rock Arts Program at the University of Minnesota and the October Writing Festival at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. She lives in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
